Kanab RV Corral, Kanab, UT

The route to Kanab took us along the horrible road north toward Page AZ.  Going through the Antelope Pass with the camper was not as challenging as I thought it would be (I drove!).  But once we passed Page and Waheap Campground, the surroundings changed.  Now we were passing close to Grand Staircase Escalante with its amazing topography.

Kanab is a small town but is well positioned for Zion, Bryce, Vermillion Cliffs, Grand Staircase Escalante and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is built like most Mormon towns with the temple right in the center and right across from our campground!

The campground was small and tight but we stopped for one night only.  What I saw in town and around prompted me to put on our trip next year, lots to explore here.

Our final main stop is coming up - Zion National Park!
