Fort Beale, Kingman AZ

We stopped in Kingman for one night, on our way to Las Vegas.  Kingman is on historic Route 66, and we enjoyed cruising along it.  It has 50’s and 60’s vibe to it. It is also a big stop on the railway, with one of the old engines on display.   It’s interesting to learn how the interstate highway system reduced travel on Rt 66, now is part of history with some very kitschy artifacts along it.

Now off to Las Vegas!
