Elk Neck, MD

This is one night only stop, so we did not explore the area too much.  The site is nice, pretty leveled and deep, with some separation from other sites.  There’s a nice little town, North End,  about 7 miles away with that New Hope feeling, small stores and restaurants, nicely maintained.  We had a great dinner with Tom’s sister, very good crab cakes, at Baker’s. There were plenty of crab shacks along the way too.  We visited Chesapeake City, very nice town right on the canal connecting Elk River to Delaware River.

And now we are back in Camp Taylor and home, catching up with friends and family and getting ready for the next adventure.
