Rollin Home RV Nephi, UT
We stopped for one night in Nephi UT. The campground is south of town, well organized with cafe, laundry and small market.
We went for a quick lunch at Cheryl’s Cafe on site of the campground and ended up having a long chat with the owner of the place. Cheryl (I think), told us that she spend her summers around Bear Lake, our next stop. She gave us plenty of suggestions on places to see and things to do. The food was really good too, I’m starting to like these small homey restaurants.
There are lots of campers here, it’s the rodeo weekend in town and a town parade. That’s why the campground is filled. People return every year with friends and family for the event.
It is hot again, close to 100 degrees, since Nephi is at lower elevation than our previous stop, just over 6000 feet. It’s hard for me to get motivated to do much in this heat.
We are off for Bear Lake State Park tomorrow!
